Religion writer discusses Esalen

The Chron's Don Lattin, who has covered the religion beat for at least two decades, walks into a Columbia University School of Journalism classroom and is asked by the professor (Ari Goldman, a former religion writer at the NY Times) to discuss "Religion, California-Style." The first word that pops into Lattin's head is Esalen. And Lattin, in this review of Jeffrey J.
