This item is far beyond the territory of the San Francisco Peninsula Press Club — its from Temecula in southwest California. But it is worth noting that the city council there is going to vote tomorrow on a policy that would bar verbal questions of city officials from reporters at the Riverside Press-Enterprise. Instead, city officials would only take questions from the newspaper in writing. Other media outlets would be exempt from the policy. The city apparently has had some problems with the paper, claiming some of its articles were in accurate.
