Pete Wilson won't get dunked on Pride Day

KGO's Pete Wilson (pictured) won't be receiving the dreaded "Pink Brick" award at this year's San Francisco Gay Pride Parade. The winner, according to the Bay Area Reporter, is President Bush, who was voted to be the person who did the most to hurt gay movement. Besides receiving a pink brick, the winner's doppelganger is dunked on Pride Day. Wilson, who has frequently stated his support for gay rights and gay marriage on his KGO-AM talk show, nonetheless ran into trouble last October when he criticized gay San Francisco Supervisor Bevan Dufty's plan to raise a child with a lesbian friend.
